Days #30-31 of Our Epic Trip

Cracker Barrel, Kennesaw, Georgia

It’s a travel day and we are headed south! While we are sad to leave our new town and new friends (especially Tim!) we are excited to finally be on the road for our trip around the US. Before leaving Chattanooga, we stopped at an Indian grocery store and got 5 lbs of chili powder. We love some heat in our food!

We drove 140 miles into Georgia to stay in the parking lot of a Cracker Barrel in Kennesaw, GA. There are no hook-ups but it’s just for one night and it’s free!

We ventured into the store of Cracker Barrel once we got settled. We both got some old fashioned candy. Daniel spent a little time finagling the inverter and battery connected to the Tesla so we would have more power.

Southern Trails RV Resort, Unadilla, Georgia

After a fairly restful night (except for Marcel’s 3am potty request), we drove through Atlanta and are staying for two weeks at Southern Trails RV Resort in Unadilla, GA. We parked in the back of the property and have a view of fields and trees. There are pecan trees on the campground and they encourage you to pick them. We also saw cotton fields while driving which Daniel thought was neat. He is eager to pick some cotton himself.

After setting up, we played bingo at the campground and had fun! We both won and may go back for another night of bingo during our stay.
