Tennessee Campgrounds

We love Tennessee! The people are so friendly, outdoor activities abound, and there are plenty of fun towns and cities.

Dunlap, TN • ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ • Full hookup

This is a wonderful gem of a campground located in Sequatchie Valley. The area is an outdoor enthusiasts mecca with plenty of opportunities for hiking (waterfalls abound), kayaking, and even paragliding. But the best part of this area is the people and that includes the campground’s owner, Tim. There are 17 full hook-up sites and Tim offers full service – he even helps to level your camper when you arrive. All the sites are situated facing north so you have shade while enjoying the beautiful views of the mountains. There is a lovely bathhouse with 3 full, homestyle, bathrooms which are kept very clean. You’ll find Tim feeding the cows, chickens and other animals on neighboring properties every morning. Tim is full of knowledge on the area and loves to chat with his customers. Bonus: There are two disc golf baskets to practice and improve your skill and Tim is surprisingly good! We paid $35.10 per night with a discount for a full week. Otherwise, it was $40.95 per night. Two vegans and two vegan dogs traveling the country in a camper pulled by a Tesla. We love being frugal, cooking from scratch, exploring, hiking, and meeting fellow vegans.
