I organized my toiletries and the pantry. Originally, the plan was that I would retire a year before Daniel to go through the house and pack up or sell our belongings. I thought I would have over a year to use up some of the lotions and shampoos I had sitting in the hallway closet but Daniel decided to retire the same month I did, March 2023. A few days after his last day we traveled down to Tennessee to spend time on our property. Then we planned our backyard wedding for July which meant I couldn’t destroy the house since we were having guests over. So, in reality, I had a month and a half to go through everything in the house after we got home from our honeymoon. My toiletries got packed up and have traveled with us as I have slowly used them up. Daniel is now very happy that my toiletries are no longer taking up space in the back of the truck since I moved the remaining stash into the camper.

I organized my shoes and the kitchen cabinets. Daniel worked on the shelf for my plants. We are almost done doing everything we wanted to do for the next leg of Our Epic Trip!

Well, I think we are almost done with our camper detox. It seems like we keep finding more stuff we need to make decisions about.
So here are some more fun facts about Daniel and I: We got engaged in Las Vegas, NV. Before we had met, I came up with a long list of everything I wanted in a partner. Daniel had checked off everything on my list like the universe read my list and hand delivered him to me. Everything except one: singing with me. So he sang to me in the shower and then proposed.
